The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has moved its deadline for fellowship applications to April 12, 2017. (Original due date was April 26, 2017.) This deadline is for projects beginning as early as January 2018. More information on the program can be found here.
NEH Fellowships support faculty pursuing advanced research that is of value to humanities scholars, general audiences, or both. Recipients usually produce articles, monographs, books, digital materials, archaeological site reports, translations, editions, or other scholarly resources in the humanities. Projects may be at any stage of development.
Successful applicants will receive a stipend of $4,200 per month. The maximum stipend is $50,400 for a twelve-month period.
