- Budget preparation, review, and approval
- Compliance: ensuring proposals adhere to both federal and college regulations
- Award negotiation and acceptance: review of terms/conditions and reporting obligations
- Contracts and subawards: review, negotiation, approval, and set-up
- Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR): institutional signatory for grant awards and contracts

Areas of Expertise
- General post-award grant management
- New grant award meetings with PI: review of grant terms & conditions, budget, compliance obligations, etc.
- Quarterly communication/check in with PI
- Maintain/ensure budget compliance, facilitate budget revisions, etc.
- Liaison between PI and finance office
- Plan and submit no cost extensions, budget reallocations and supplements to funder
- Assist with sub-award modifications
- Manage grant funded RECR certification (ethics training through Citi Training)
- Submit salary from grants requests
- Work with PI and DoF office regarding grant funded AP leave and sabbatical salary
- Final reporting review and submission
